We're back on the show machine again now! We had two again this weekend. On Saturday was Fareham High Street, near Portsmouth, for the first time. It was the most tiring event of the year so far! The wind was outrageous! I was hidden behind a piece of artwork, and sheltered a bit. Friends of mine spent the whole show picking up their pictures! It was warm though, and I did find a lovely cache of woollen cones in a charity shop, so not all a loss!
On Sunday we were back at Rowdeford Garden Fair at a Special Needs School in Rowde. It was our second time there and it never ceases to make me happy. The event runs to raise money for the school and all of the locals and families of the students come out to show their support. That makes for one of the most cheerful shows I ever go to! It didn't matter that it tipped it down as I was packing up (well it was awful, but we will look past that), it was a joy to be at!
After the show, we also managed to finish off the purple and gray scarves, ready to sell. They are the favourite ones I have done so far! I've decided that I need to do more plaids. I love how the colours interact with each other when you have stripes and I'm going to be doing a lot more of it!
